RANA SHOOTING STARTS...

The Shooting of the Super Star’s film “Rana” begins today (29-4-11) in the AVM Pillaiyar Temple. Rajinikanth is acting in triple roles in this film. Rajinikanth has penned the Story. Dialogues and Direction of “Rana” is done by K.S.Ravikumar.

The Shooting of this film was to start little earlier itself. Rajinikanth was not fully satisfied with the looks and the Photo shoot of Deepika Padukone. So, he wanted to make some changes. As all the changes were over, the Shooting of this film begins from today.

“Rana” Film Pooja was held in the AVM Pillaiyar Temple today morning. After this, the shooting of the Song sequence featuring Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone was shot today.

VIPs such as Rajinikanth, Deepika Padukone, K.Balachander, R.M.Veerappan, Soundarya Rajinikanth, R.B.Choudary, Dance Master Sundaram, and many others were present in this occasion. This Commencement of Shooting was held very silently.

The superhit combination of director K S Ravikumar and actor Rajinikanth is back. This time, for a full-fledged action movie in which the Superstar will play not one, but three roles!

K S Ravikumar had earlier given two hits with Rajinikanth in Muthu and Padayappa. With Rana, the two are all set to recreate that magic once again onscreen.

Talking to CT, K S Ravikumar says, "Yes, Rana will be an action entertainer and it will be a period film. Rajinikanth will sport a different look in it."

A source close to the film's unit also says, "If things go according to plan, Rana will start rolling in March. Rajini will play three different roles in it. It will be a trilingual and the film will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi by next year."

According to rumours doing the rounds in the industry, Deepika Padukone is to be paired opposite the Superstar in the film. However, there has been no official confirmation as of now.

While AR Rahman will compose the music for Rana, cinematography will be by Rathnavelu. Art and editing will be handled by Rajeevan and Anthony respectively. Apart from co-producing the film,Soundarya Rajinikanth will also handle the special effects in it.

Meanwhile, work is still on for Sultan The Warrior aka Hara, an animation flick that is being made by Soundarya Rajinikanth. Sources say that Rana is likely to release before Hara.

VELAYUDHAM

Jayam Raja said that, 15 Villains and 30 Comedians have acted in the film “Velayudham”. Regarding the special aspects of this film, Jayam Raja told that, “This film is being made with 100% Commercial aspects.

Almost 85% of this film’s works are over. The Producer of this film Aascar Ravichandran should definitely be appreciated. He does not bother about the expenses done for this film. He has just ordered that, this should be made into a good quality movie.

We have filmed a Song with an expense of 2 Crores. 2 more Songs are to be filmed for this film. The other special aspect of this film is, 15 Villains and 30 Comedians have acted in this film. Vijay comes in the role of a Milkman, Genelia is acting as a Reporter, and Hansika Motwani is the Vijay’s Lover in this film.

Normally, Vijay’s films have huge expectations. This film would fulfill all those expectations. This would become one of the Vijay’s Hit films”.

MANGATHA NEWS

Ultimate Star Ajith is acting in his 50th film “Mankatha”. This film is directed by Venkat Prabhu for which the Music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Normally, Lyricist Vaali would write Lyrics for Ajith Kumar’s films.

Whenever Venkat Prabhu directs films, his Father Gangai Amaran would write the Lyrics. A new Lyricist has written the Lyrics for 1 Song alone. National Poet Mahakavi Bharathiyar has aroused his voice against the British regime for the Indian freedom. Bharathiyar’s Grandson Niranjan has written a Song for this film “Mankatha”.

Niranjan Bharathi is introduced as a Lyricist for the first time through this film. As this is Ajith’s 50th film, it is very special. This is becoming even more special as Bharathiyar’s Grandson is writing Lyrics for a Song in this film. Even this film’s crew is very happy about this.

The Audio of this film is being released on May 1st, which is tomorrow. It is to be mentioned that, Ajith Kumar is celebrating his 40th Birthday also.

ACTOR AJITHKUMAR CANCELLING FAN CLUBS

Ultimate Star is to celebrate his 40th Birthday on coming May 1st. When his Fans would normally expect good news on that day, he has given a big Shock to his Fans.

He has given a Press Release statement that;

Many Salutations.

My Film career began with the film “Amaravathi”. Now, my 50th film is to be released. I would like to thank the Members of the Film Fraternity, my Fans, the public, and all those who have helped me to achieve this success. I was thinking from a very longtime to say few things. Today, I am conveying my message through this Press Release statement.

I have never used my Fans for my selfishness. I have never used them as any kind of Shields for my personal likes or dislikes. I would never do so.

Because of having Fans Clubs, there are many issues like Gang fights, lack of unity, disobeying the words of the Heads, functioning according to their own ideas, using the Fans Clubs for expressing their Political views and so on. This does not suit with my views and thoughts.

I feel that, there is no necessity of Fans Clubs to do good deeds. It is enough, if we have good Heart and good thoughts. On coming May 1st, during my 40th Birthday, I would announce this Statement as my Declaration. From today, I would like to abolish all my Ajith’s Fans Clubs, which functioned under me.

In the changing times, Public are keenly observing everyone. My belief is that, apart from the Film career, an Actor and his Fans should be noble in the eyes of Public. That Pride and my real fans, who give support to this decision, would be my biggest Birthday gift this year.
